Working as an Equine Body Worker and Hoof Care Provider, Nydia has always worked hard and progressed to running her own business. Nydia is a horse lover and is not here to do office work. Inevitably however, the paperwork was unavoidable.
Nydia says, “working with horses can be very physical and demanding. As a business owner that is extremely passionate about horses I would spend a lot of time thinking about each case and how I can better improve each horse’s life. But when running your own business, you can’t really avoid the office work, and if you do, you don’t get paid.”
EPH was born out of frustration with other equine apps being confusing, complicated, expensive and still not doing everything that equine professionals need. She kept saying to myself, “there has to be a better way.”
Co-Founder and COO
Jason is Nydia’s fiancé and has been very supportive and helpful throughout the whole app development. Jason has two trades under his belt, being a cattleman at heart and loves nothing more than working with his hands out in the bush. His previous work experiences have given insight into using apps for work, as both of his trades have run their business embracing technology by integrating smartphones and apps.
When Nydia first told him about the idea, his response was “Oh yeah that’s awesome, let’s do it”. Nydia admits she has a tendency to say “I’ve had an idea” a lot which often involves Jason giving up a Saturday to help Nydia build something, move something, pull down something, or go somewhere random. He normally does all this with a smile on his face and with minimal eye rolling. Nydia thinks at first when she started talking about the app he was excited that it was an idea that didn’t require a lot of work from him. But as the project has moved forward he was itching to get his hands dirty.
INVESTOR
Letitia was our first investor and has been working in an advisory position to ensure EPH provides the most value to its customers.
Although her background is predominantly mining, she was able to see a gap in the equine industry that EPH can fill by having an app for everything. In Letitia’s own words, she tries to be organised but sometimes when busy, things pile up and get away from her like the organised mess of receipts on the car floor. So let’s help each other get back to the more important thing in life like family, friends and some backyard cricket.
INVESTORS
Sally and Rob have both been in the horse industry for a long time. Sally has had a successful career as a competitive dressage rider and is a rare gem of a person. Rob was a jockey and now is a racehorse trainer he is also a farrier. Their experience and knowledge working in the Equine industry has been invaluable and ensured EPH serves equine business owners exceptionally well.

Ebony and Kristy have invested in the app as they loved the idea and how much positive impact this app can have on so many people working in the Equine industry.
As full time employees with several horses; and a passion for regenerative agriculture time really is never on our side! As a couple with mixed experience of horse ownership (20+ years and new to the industry!). We are well aware how much people care for their animals, it verges on the point of obsession.
Which is why we are such big believers in this App. It will extensively improve the efficiency of an equine business; but also the effective management. The horse industry is continuously growing and there is so much future potential that this app will really fill a void.
